With over 37 years of dedication to ecological crop protection, BioFirst Group’s new facility epitomizes innovation and sustainability. Employing over 2,800 individuals globally and serving growers in more than 70 countries, the company’s focus on biological solutions underscores its commitment to reducing chemical pesticide usage and meeting consumer demand for healthier, residue-free crops. The €12 million investment in this state-of-the-art 4,000 square meter facility underscores BioFirst Group’s dedication to scaling up production capabilities while remaining environmentally conscious. Powered entirely by green energy and featuring cutting-edge technologies to minimize its carbon footprint, the facility exemplifies BioFirst Group’s commitment to sustainability. However, amidst celebration, the company’s CEO, Jean-Marc Vandoorne, urges policymakers to expedite the registration processes for biopesticides, emphasizing the need for streamlined regulations to further promote sustainable agriculture in the EU.
