BiOWiSH Technologies, Inc. is pleased to announce that BiOWiSH® Crop Liquid has obtained regulatory clearance from the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) for utilization in agricultural production. In tandem with this certification, ADM has extended its offering of BiOWiSH® Enhanced Fertilizer to five additional terminal locations across the United States and Canada, with plans to incorporate four more locations later this year.
The BiOWiSH® Fertilizer Enhancement represents a proprietary blend of microbial cultures applied onto dry fertilizer or combined with liquid fertilizer, thereby creating a more efficient fertilizer solution. This enhancement is directly administered by the fertilizer supplier, ensuring it arrives on the farm ready for application.
Accessible through ADM, the BiOWiSH® Fertilizer Enhancement can be integrated into various fertilizers such as Urea, Monoammonium Phosphate (MAP), Diammonium Phosphate (DAP), UAN, NPK blends, and more. Its mechanism involves fostering a synergistic relationship between plant and soil microbes, thereby enhancing nutrient uptake and optimizing yield potential.
Demonstrated to deliver consistent and desired outcomes across diverse operational settings, climates, and environments, this solution offers a cost-effective option for farmers. Meta-analysis of profit change outcomes from replicated cereal grain studies using BiOWiSH® Enhanced Efficiency Fertilizer, compared to control treatments, indicates potential profit increases of $50 per acre for wheat and $58 per acre for corn based on USA 5-year commodity value ranges (2018-2023) in dollars per bushel. Moreover, when combined with the ADM re
program, which incentivizes farmers for adopting climate-smart practices, wheat and corn growers stand to earn an additional $2 per acre.
