AMVAC GreenSolutions partners with Biome Makers to invest in improved soil health
AMVAC® GreenSolutions has partnered with Biome Makers to study how biological products interact in the soil and benefit plants. AMVAC, an American Vanguard® Company, is a solutions provider for global agriculture that is committed to technology, innovation, and sustainability.

Biome Makers is a global AgTech company focused on soil health, and their BeCrop® technology analyzes soil data intelligence to predict risks, improve yields, and regenerate soil health. GreenSolutions will be using BeCrop Trials from Biome Makers to measure the effects of its products on soil biology.

“We are excited to initiate this work with Biome Makers to study the interaction between our suite of biologicals and the soil as they are taken up by plants,” said Marcus Jones, product development manager at AMVAC. “As part of our commitment to innovation and sustainability, GreenSolutions continues to invest in research, focusing on improved soil health parameters.”

“Our partnership with AMVAC GreenSolutions highlights our joint commitment to soil health. By using BeCrop technology to evaluate their biological ag inputs, we aim to provide data-driven insights that validate best-performing products. Together, we are driving sustainable agriculture forward,” states Adrian Ferrero, CEO and co-founder at Biome Makers.

The initial work within the partnership will focus on two products within the GreenSolutions biological portfolio: B Sure® liquid nutrient solution and iNvigorate® nutrient enhancer. B Sure mitigates abiotic stress and supports photosynthesis and plant metabolism, while iNvigorate creates a highly productive microbial community when applied to the soil, assisting in nutrient uptake and improving fertilizer efficiency. Each product will be applied to cotton in the initial study. Leveraging Biome Makers’ BeCrop Trials, AMVAC aims to evaluate the effects of iNvigorate and B Sure on the soil microbiome in cotton crops and the possible interaction effects of these inputs on soil health and functionality.

B Sure and iNvigorate can be applied to a wide variety of crops, and the products have experienced tremendous growth in cotton, corn, and soybeans, improving crop health and increasing yields. These two and others in the GreenSolutions suite of products are registered for use on row crops and specialty crops.

“Studies such as these help us continue to ensure that GreenSolutions products are not only effective but also work positively with the soil microbiome in the short and long term,” said Jones.
