MustGrow Biologics Corp. (TSXV:MGRO) (OTC:MGROF) (FRA:0C0) is excited to announce its participation in Cal Poly Strawberry Field Day, where it will showcase TerraSanteTM, a mustard-derived organic biofertility product. This event, scheduled for August 8, 2024, attracts hundreds of stakeholders from California and beyond, including strawberry growers and industry experts, highlighting the significance of the $2.68 billion strawberry industry in California.

TerraSanteTM is integral to MustGrow’s initiatives in soil microbiome health, nutrient efficiency, and plant yield enhancement. Developed as a soluble, mixable organic biofertilizer, it nourishes soil and its microbial communities with natural plant proteins and carbohydrates. This approach aims to bolster soil health sustainably, potentially boosting crop nutrient uptake, plant vigor, and yields while reducing stress. Importantly, TerraSanteTM is free from artificial additives or preservatives, aligning with organic farming standards.

In a strategic move to bolster its California market presence, MustGrow has enlisted Michael Atkins, a seasoned agronomist with 17 years at Nutrien, specializing in Coastal California. Atkins brings extensive experience in agronomy, nutrient management, and research, holding dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemistry and Soil Science from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo.

MustGrow’s recent approvals from the California Department of Food Agriculture and the Organic Input Material Program mark significant milestones, enhancing its commercialization efforts alongside BioAg Product Strategies. This regulatory clearance complements existing certifications in Oregon and Washington State, underscoring MustGrow’s commitment to expanding its footprint in key U.S. agricultural markets.

California represents a pivotal market for MustGrow, given its dominance in U.S. agriculture, encompassing substantial sectors such as grapes, almonds, and lettuce, alongside strawberries. The state’s organic product sales, totaling $14.0 billion in 2021, underscore a growing demand for organic and locally sourced produce. MustGrow aims to empower California farmers with TerraSanteTM, aligning with increasing consumer preferences for healthy, sustainable agricultural practices.
