Lavoro Limited, the premier distributor of agricultural inputs in Latin America, recently revealed its acquisition of a controlling interest in Coram Comércio e Representações Agrícolas, a renowned retailer based in Ituverava (SP). Coram, an established player in the agricultural inputs market since 1973, has now become an integral part of Lavoro’s operations in the states of São Paulo, Minas Gerais, and Goiás, while further solidifying its presence in the sugar and alcohol sector.

Founded by César Luiz Mendonça, Coram boasts a network of 10 points of sale, over 50 employees, and serves approximately 1,200 customers across the aforementioned states. Ruy Cunha, the CEO of Lavoro, expressed enthusiasm about this strategic move, stating, “We are very pleased to welcome Coram to the Lavoro family.
